Fair work (Waadi)
The Waadi is the Dutch act on labour-market intermediaries. Here is what it means for you, in plain language.
Your rights
- An intermediary may not charge you for finding work. On Razom Werkt everything is free for workers.
- You are entitled to a written contract before you start.
- You must be paid at least the minimum wage and the pay set by your sector's CAO.
- An employer may not keep your documents (passport, residence permit) as security.
- Housing provided by an employer must not be a condition you cannot challenge, and its cost must be transparent.
How to complain
You can complain anonymously: contact details are optional. Without them we cannot reply, though.
- Describe what happened: who, when, what money or conditions.
- Send the form below — a coordinator reads it, not the employer.
- You can also contact the Dutch Labour Authority (Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie) directly, independently of us.
Complaint form
Optional. If you add it, the consent below is required.
